In the 19th century, composers like Robert Schumann and Johannes Brahms found solace and inspiration in the deep woods of the Black Forest. Here, among mist and pine, they translated the rhythm of nature, the trembling of leaves, the echo of the wind, the quiet pulse of solitude, into music. Their works, Waldszenen and the pastoral symphonies of Brahms, turned the forest into an instrument of emotion, a mirror of the human heart.
Today, this music festival reimagines that same forest through sound, light, and technology. A grand piano stands beside modular synthesizers; strings resonate with digital bass. Sunlight becomes rhythm, and fog becomes harmony. The forest is no longer silent, it breathes, sings, and vibrates with both the memory of the past and the pulse of the present.
Here, classical composition meets electronic improvisation. Nature becomes stage, and sound becomes landscape.
