Mind Journey

Mind Journey is a motion graphic animation that explores the idea that the human mind is composed of many internal spaces. Inspired by Virginia Woolf’s writing on the mind as a series of rooms, I visualized my own thoughts and emotions as shifting windows and interiors that one can move through. The animation adopts a surreal visual language, reflecting my belief that thoughts exist in an ambiguous state — deeply felt yet physically intangible. Just as surreal imagery occupies a space between reality and imagination, the mind is something we experience vividly but cannot materially locate. Through this project, I translate my tendency to overthink into a playful and introspective journey, using motion as a way to navigate, observe, and momentarily make sense of the invisible structures within my own mind.
